STAGE 3 - Balanced Scorecard for Skills
CASE STUDY - Stemler Communications
Plan, Do, Check, Act Cycle
THIRD STEP - CHECK, AND FOURTH STEP - ACT
The key to effective evaluation - both in terms
of workplace education efforts and Balanced Scorecard measures
- is to FOLLOW THROUGH. You must check results, compare
to the original objectives, re-tool, and begin the process
again. These are the important last two parts of the Plan-Do-Act-Check
cycle. In layman's terms, these last two parts of the cycle
are designed to "keep you honest," and are indicative
of the seriousness of your commitment to the process.

to the Strategic Planning Team at Stemler Communications on
the evaluation results of the new educational initiatives
(Stage-Gate Process, Communicating Benefits
and Closing Sales, Six Sigma, Change Management, and Literacy
training). He provided the following summaries.
