What is BMW Championship

The BMW Championship is a professional golf tournament. There are many important tournaments in the PGA and this happens to be a very big one. The BMW Championship is open to the top 70 golfers.

Only 70 golfers can qualify for this tournament. There is no cut after two days, if you have qualified, you’re in. The BMW championship started in 2007. It has been one of the most important tournaments on the PGA Tour.

As the third to four playoff events, the field is limited to these 70 players. What is at stake? 30 tickets to the season finale. Each year, the tournament is held at a different venue. This year it will be held on August 13-18th in Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois.

This will be the fourth time that the event has been at Medinah. The Ryder Cup, PGA Championship, and the U. S. Open have all been played at Medinah, and this year is exciting for all of the golfers who are taking part in this event.

The country club was founded in the 1920s by Shriners, and this country club has three golf courses. These were designed by a famous golfer, Tom Bendelow. There is also a 120,000-square-foot clubhouse and is filled with great architecture.

Normally, it is very easy to watch the BMW championship live. This year will be very easy as well. There are many tickets still available if you plan on watching this event live and on the green. Also, there are many ways that you can watch the event on television or online. As far as tickets, there are weekly passes available, individual day tickets, and group tickets available as well.  The final round on Sunday the 18th of August may be the hardest day to find tickets.
